He has extensive experience in building systems in the financial industry covering front, middle and back office systems using a broad spectrum of technologies. He has led custom and vendor technology implementations at investment banking, asset management and hedge fund firms, including Merrill Lynch, Bear Stearns, Morgan Stanley and Tudor Investment Corporation. Mr. Chawla's work experience is complemented with Masters Degrees in Computer Science and Economics. Jiaqi (Jean) Cui Software Engineer Ms. Cui is a recent MIT graduate with a joint major in Humanities and Engineering, and a minor in Economics. Since joining G2 in December of 2009, she has worked on Geneva RSL and RDL implementations as well as prime broker trade extract projects. Sandeep Gupte Software Engineer Mr. Gupte joined G2 in 2009 from Summit Global Solutions Inc., a consulting firm he founded in 2004 where he provided strategic information systems and operations guidance for the alternative investments space. He has worked with small start up hedge funds to large established global asset managers where he provided systems selection guidance, project management and implementation services as well as systems integration services. Mr. Gupte has hands-on experience with multiple implementations of SunGard's fund accounting system Visual Portfolio Manager (VPM). As the Chief Technology Officer of Angelo, Gordon & Co., a $14B global hedge fund, from 2000 through 2004 he guided key strategic technologies for the firm including the areas of conversion of their legacy fund accounting system, front to back transaction processing, investor relations management and business continuity. Prior to Angelo, Gordon Mr. Gupte was a senior manager at Integrated Business Systems (now SunGard VPM) and played a major role in the design and development of VPM a Hedge Fund and Fund Administrator accounting system. Mr. Gupte holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from SUNY at Stony Brook and has the NASD Series 6, 63 and 7 certifications. Adam Hoffman Software Engineer Mr. Hoffman joined G2 in 2006 from Tufts University with a degree in Computer Science. Prior to joining G2, Mr. Hoffman worked as an intern for United Technologies in Hartford, CT. Steve Pappas Software Engineer Mr. Pappas joined G2 in 2008 from the University of Michigan with a Bachelors degree in Engineering (Computer Science) with a minor in Economics. Prior to joining G2, Mr. Pappas worked as an intern for JP Morgan Chase within Treasury & Securities Services. Mike Ryzewic Software Engineer Mr. Ryzewic joined G2 in 2007. He received Bachelors degrees in both Astrophysics and Mechanical Engineering (both summa cum laude) from Columbia University, where he also received the William A. Hadley Prize in Mechanical Engineering. Mr. Ryzewic has previously worked two summer internships in the financial field, during which he has developed a relational database for tracking private equity deals, as well as evaluating the benefits of purchasing both analytical and database software. He is also an instrument rated private pilot. Rajdeep Saha Software Engineer Mr. Saha holds a PhD in Physics from the University of Rochester. His post doctoral efforts include work on the adoption and usage of Signal Processing algorithms for the simulation of quantum dynamics at the Yale Chemistry Department. He was also part of a collaborative project with Lawrence Livermore National Lab, working on the simulation of quantum scattering events in dense plasma. Jared Sharfin Software Engineer Mr. Sharfin joined G2 after working as a Business Systems Analyst at Steve and Barry's LLC. While at Steve and Barry's, he worked on their SAP implementation, documenting and configuring the Materials Management Module. Mr. Sharfin received his Bachelors degree in Physics from Cornell University. Ciprian Stratulat Software Engineer Mr. Stratulat joined G2 in 2008 from Harvard University with a Bachelors degree in Computer Science. While at G2, Mr. Stratulat has focused on data integration with accounting applications. He has written software that aids loading of trading activity and prices from custom data sources, as well as extracting and uploading data to various PBs and Fund Administrators. Prior to joining G2, Mr. Stratulat worked as Computer Assistant in the Library Information Systems Department at Harvard Graduate School of Design. Dan Tilkin Software Engineer Mr. Tilkin joined G2 from Bloomberg LP, in the Equity group of R&D. He worked on the core equity databases and infrastructure, and later took part in developing the new Bloomberg Estimates product. At G2, Mr. Tilkin is focusing on developing the G2 TaxGopherTM product. Mr. Tilkin received a Bachelors Degree in Computer Science and a Bachelors Degree in Mathematical Sciences from Carnegie Mellon University in 1999. Lauren Schneider Business Support In addition to providing administrative support for G2, Ms. Schneider is the Director of Operations for mSpoke, a leading provider of internet content personalization services located in Pittsburgh, PA. Prior to joining mSpoke and G2, Ms. Schneider was the Principal of Owl Hollow Farm, specializing in dressage instruction and training for amateur riders. From 1990-1995, Ms. Schneider was General Manager at pioneering interdisciplinary design consultancy MAYA Design Group. From 1987-1990, Ms. Schneider was the Assistant Director of Computing for the Department at Psychology at Carnegie Mellon University. Ms. Schneider holds a Bachelors degree in Creative Writing from Carnegie Mellon University. Amber Yusuf Business Support Ms. Yusuf joined G2 from MSCI Barra, where she worked as the client project manager for a G2 implementation project. Ms. Yusuf worked for MSCI Barra, a risk analytics firm, from 2002-2007 in many project management roles ranging from software development to model research. Prior to her time at MSCI Barra, Ms. Yusuf worked for five years in management consulting for both Ernst & Young and Price Waterhouse in package and custom software implementations, as well as data warehousing projects. Ms. Yusuf received a Bachelors degree from Washington University in St. Louis in Electrical Engineering, and an MBA from the Haas School of Business, UC Berkeley. Back to top |
