When you upgrade to a new version of Geneva®, Advent's global investment management and accounting solution, you want your upgrade to run smoothly and efficiently, and to be economical. G2 offers clients the Geneva experience they need. In addition to completing more than three dozen Geneva implementations at Hedge Funds, Global Prime Brokerage Institutions and Fund Administrators, G2 has performed multiple system upgrades for many of these clients. Providing upgrade solutions since Geneva version 3.5, G2 has particular experience with Geneva version 7.X and all the required Microsoft infrastructure that goes along with it.

G2 delivers the necessary tools for systematically converting from one Geneva version to another. G2 creates a regression test suite of scripts that automatically compares the two versions of the system and comprehensively identifies and categorizes breaks. This system ensures that pre- and post-conversion reports have identical values. If there are any data breaks, G2 can pinpoint where and why they occur.

G2's upgrade process includes:

Detailed project planning and establishment of a "sandbox" environment

Custom upgrade analysis with results compilation and full mitigation planning

Full discrepancy mitigation, plus system integration and performance testing of the upgraded system

Sandbox parallel processing, then final production system upgrade
